2025 President's Message

The Northampton District Agricultural Society (NDAS) would like to welcome everyone to our 107th Northampton show on the 13th of September 2025.

With this being my frst year in the position of President I would like to sincerely thank all the commitee members for their time, dedicaton and enthusiasm in helping to plan this year’s event.

We have made a number of changes to help streamline the show and simplify some items while looking to showcase the very best of what our community has to offer.

These events are unable to go ahead without the support of our local businesses and community members. This has resulted in the introduction of a four-tier sponsorship package which provides financial support to the NDAS, as we hope to build a solid partnership with local businesses in Northampton and the Mid West. We hope that through these partnerships we can promote our community through the largest event in the Northampton Shire and bring value to those businesses that have so kindly offered their support. I would like to thank the Northern Agri Group (NAG) for their support and for partnering with the NDAS as our Platinum sponsor for the next three years. NAG is also a volunteer run group who is involved in research, development and extension for all things farming in and around Binnu, Ajana, Ogilvie and Northampton. As the show stll maintains a strong agricultural connecton we are very thankful to NAG for partnering with the NDAS in show casing all that our community has to offer.

I would also like to thank our other major sponsors including Nutrien Ag Solutons Northampton, Oakajee Energy and GMA as Gold sponsors; Murchison Hydrogen, McIntosh & Son, Phil Gray's Transport and Claas Harvest Centre as our Silver sponsors; and Great Northern Rural Services, Northern Stud Merino Breeders’ Association, Midwest Grain Cleaners, Chally Bridge Farms, Northampton Pharmacy, AWB, AFGRI, Independent Rural Northampton, GJ & HE Williams, Warakirri and Geraldton Toyota as Bronze sponsors. Thank you to all these businesses that have provided support for 2025 and we look forward to working with you this year and into the future.

I also need to thank everyone who offers their help in the lead up to the show in helping process entries, working at busy bees with the set up and packing up, stewards, judges, gate staff and parking assistants on show day, as all these contributions help to ensure the show runs smoothly.

As we take pride in being able to promote our community there have been some changes, with all entries being processed through showday.online, the digital system, to help reduce the workload of our volunteers. We have also amended some of the prize money in a lot of the sections, so be sure to have a good look at what you could enter, even if it’s only a couple of classes -- all entries help to showcase our area and portray a vibrant community.

ree

Here’s to another successful show and we hope to see you all on show day.

Thank you

Lloyd Cripps

President -- Northampton District Agricultural Society
